Health and Safety Update

An update on the Savannah African Art Museum's response to the coronavirus:

As concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) escalates, the Savannah African Art Museum will close effective immediately through April 8, 2020.   In addition, all public programs and outreach efforts will also be put on immediate hold.

The Savannah African Art Museum is monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and is implementing extra measures to prioritize the health and safety of visitors, as well as our staff and volunteers. These include increased frequency of cleaning in all areas of our museum, annex building, and public spaces. We are also requiring that staff and volunteers who are sick stay home.

We are closely following local, state and federal agencies and we will continue to adhere to their directives.
Please check back weekly on Fridays for updates on this situation.

Museum exhibits, galleries, and tours are closed at this time.

We appreciate your patience as we work to assist our community in staying safe and healthy.
