Admission:

Free individual admission*

(Free admission for students, schools, and youth organizations.) 

West Africa Tours begin every hour on the hour, last tour at 4 pm
Central Africa Tours begin at the bottom of every hour, last tour at 3:30 pm

Hours:

Monday:        Closed

Tuesday:        Closed 

Wednesday:  11 pm to 5 pm

Thursday:      11 pm to 5 pm

Friday:            11 pm to 5 pm

Saturday:       11 pm to 5 pm 

Sunday:          Closed

Groups will be limited to 10 per group per tour

to maintain social distancing guidelines. 

*Masks are REQUIRED

Parking:

Free limited parking is available on site.

The Savannah Museum of African Art offers free parking to museum guests between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. If your car is left in the parking lot past 5:00 pm it will be subject to towing. Should the parking lot be full, street parking can be found around the museum on 37th street, Lincoln street, and Abercorn street. 

Be aware that some of the street parking around the museum is timed and your vehicle could be subject to ticketing. Also, please do not leave valuable belongings unattended in your vehicle.
