(This allows for us to maintain a proper sanitization schedule between groups)

What to expect during the reopening:
  • Masks will be required for all visitors and staff.
  • If you do not have a mask, masks will be available in a kit at the front desk. This kit includes one mask and one glove to be used for the stairway handrails.
  • Tour group capacity at the museum is reduced.
    • We will be limiting our group size to 5 people per group and limiting available tours to only West or Central Africa. Highlights tours will be temporarily unavailable.
    • If you have a group of 10 or more the group will have to be split up into separate smaller groups.
    • Tours will also be limited to 30 minutes to ensure that the public areas can be sanitized
