Health and Safety Update

An update on the Savannah African Art Museum's response to the Coronavirus:

Our hours will be as follows:
 Wednesday - Saturday | 11 am - 5 pm with the last West Africa tour starting at 4 pm and the last Central Africa tour starting at 3:30 pm.
All tours through the museum are guided and align with the below schedule:
(This allows for us to maintain a proper sanitation schedule between groups)

What to expect during your visit:
  • Masks will be required for all staff.
  • If you do not have a mask, and want a masks they will be available at the front desk. 
  • Tour group capacity at the museum is limited as follows: 
    • We will be limiting our group size to 10 people per group and limiting available tours to only West or Central Africa. Highlights tours will be temporarily unavailable.
    • If you have a group of more than 10 people the group will have to be split up into separate smaller groups.
    • We suggest for large groups to take advantage of our Zoom tour options.  Up to 100 guests may join the Zoom tour.
  • Sanitizer stations will be located throughout the building for guests and staff. 
  • We will continue to have our Zoom tour resources available.
