Do you know why spiders are shy of thunder? 

In this ages 6 and up workshop, you will learn one of the many tales of Anansi the spider, his adventures with Thunder, and the lesson of the Magic Cooking Pot! 

After the story, you will get to make your own Anansi Cooking Pot planter

 to take home with you!


The workshop will be led by Alisa Evans Newsome 

Materials will be provided by the museum. 

Multipurpose Room, Carriage House (2nd floor), Savannah African Art Museum, 201 East 37th Street, Savannah, GA 31401

Please note that this location has stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
