Tracing Your Roots - Tips & Resources Workshop
We are so pleased to collaborate with our neighbor, the Bull Street Library - Kaye Kole Genealogy & Local History Room to bring you our Tracing Your Roots-Tips & Resources Workshop. We hosted this workshop a few years ago informing attendees of all the valuable free resources and librarian assistance offered at the Bull Street Library, which some of you took advantage of. We decided to do it again, but this time we’re hosting it at the library so we could show you! Attendees will get a brief talk about the importance of knowing your roots by Education & Community Outreach Liaison, Lisa Jackson and then be escorted to the Kaye Kole Genealogy & Local History Room where Librarian, Linda Bridges will guide you through what resources are available, give you tips on how to get started, navigate, and organize your research, etc.
Join us, who knows, we may discover kinfolk amongst us!
Registered workshop participants will meet at the Bull Street Library (2002 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31401). The workshop will be held from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
