SCHOOL TOURS K-12
Savannah African Art Museum offers tours to students of all education levels. Each tour will focus on a theme based on the request of the faculty member leading the class. We have several different themes covered on tours such as, Leadership, Initiation, Problem Solving, Prestige, and Ancestry and Spirits. However, for specialized courses of study, a reflective theme may be requested and will be available upon docent availability.
School groups cannot exceed 20 individuals. If your group is large than 20 you will be asked to divide your group and schedule them at another time. Scheduling your tour must be done no sooner than 2 weeks from the date of your tour. Any unscheduled groups that arrive to the museum may not be able to be accommodated and will be turned away if other tours are booked.

Our Central African Tour takes an in depth look at the art and cultures from the countries of Central and East Africa.
This tour comprises of the galleries we have located on the second floor of the museum, in addition to the the rotating exhibition gallery on the first floor.

Our Highlights Tour covers a hand full of highlight works from both of our floors dedicated to West and Central African art.
This tour is recommended for new visitors who are new to or are unfamiliar with the collection and the museum.
