WALK IN TOURS
Savannah African Art Museum offers Walk-In Tours on Wednesday through Saturday, excluding holidays, and subject to docent availability. West African tours begin every hour on the hour. Central African tours begin on the half hour. The last tour of the day being West Africa at 4:00 pm.
The Savannah African Art Museum offers 3 tour types that focus on different themes of Leadership, Initiation, Problem Solving, Prestige, and Ancestry and Spirits. *the Highlights tour is unavailable at this time
** Please be aware that tours last on average of 45 to 60 minutes in length.

Our West Africa Tour takes an in depth look at the art and cultures from the countries of West Africa.
This tour comprises of the galleries we have located on the first floor of the museum, including the rotating exhibition gallery.

Our Central African Tour takes an in depth look at the art and cultures from the countries of Central and East Africa.
This tour comprises of the galleries we have located on the second floor of the museum, in addition to the the rotating exhibition gallery on the first floor.
